Buttermilk falls Pennsylvania
Ok so any kind of storm, rain, sleet or snow I love to go out in. I think nature is amazing and such a wonder! Crazy what nature can really do! Any chance I get I pack the kids up and head out for a hike into nature!
Today we went to buttermilk falls. This is on 22 near blairsville pa. I know of a few buttermilk falls in Pennsylvania, but this one is the steepest! 45 foot long waterfall.
This one was home of Fred Mcfeely (Mr Rodgers off of the PBS tv show)
You can still see the stone foundation of the house.
There are a few ways into the falls some short cut paths ( little steeper) or a slight slant pathway, that helps with different age groups who would like to get to the falls!
There is an observation deck when you get to the falls, there is also a path you can take to get directly behind the falls! I have done this many of times but today we didn't because of excessive flooding in our area.
Great place to visit! Step away from your phone/computer and go see something!

Our new faucet
So we just finished putting this new faucet into our kitchen :) I love the design of it, but my hubby wasn't sure of the hold up on this. It's a china piece... so we will see how the functionality of it will work out... hoping it works out good if not I will have to hear it from my hubby haha he wanted one from lowes. So we will see so far I love it!

Diy zebra print patio chairs
So my husband brought these ugly patio chairs home few years ago , they where so comfortable I had to give them a new life. I painted them zebra 7 years ago , but they needed redone! I never sanded them down right last time I painted them just did it real fast . This year I decided to take some long over due time to these chairs this spring. I sanded them down to bare wood. They looked really good my husband wanted to just stain them, however he lost interest and I stayed on this project lol needless to say they came out zebra ! I just used a foam brush to do these I am going to go back to these with a fine brush. I have 5 more chairs , one more bench and a picnic table to do yet, but hey its a start! Will post progress pictures as I go.
